See me

Most of us need honest, real relationships; one of our greatest hungers of life.  Adults change little from infancy in needs of acceptance, recognition, praise, warm welcome, friendly face to relieve loneliness; still need encouragement and notice.  Touch me, smile at me, text me stimulates me to achieve, grow, and progress through mutual trust.  But to the degree I give, I get.

Devotion

Some may argue that only optimists can love what they are doing. Yet a devoted alcoholic is rather steadfast also. Either way I believe that life reflects my thoughts, beliefs, and enthusiasm. Doubting my beliefs builds restrictions around my dreams. I will dream my thoughts and live my dreams.

Limiting me?

The only limitations to my mind are the ones I acknowledge. My dominating dream will become reality to a certain degree. Therefore the power of my dominating desire must be backed by unwavering faith. Plan definite paths to success and step over failures. See, feel, believe definite desire is already in possession.  Then soar.

killing the thrill

I won’t lose the thrill and zest for life because I attempt to start each day with thoughts of “the wonderful” happening during the mystery of this exciting life I am deemed to experience. However, if I allow extinguishing of thrills, no matter how minute, the party is over. Enjoy life because things come and go like the weather.

Opinion Myths

When my self-respect depends on opinions of others, I am a slave to the myth. I will love self whether I sink or swim. I am proud of me due to my courage to go for it. The audience out there don’t measure my failure or my success, I do. Therefore, the only person I’m trying to impress is me. Waiting for respect from others is ridiculous. I play ultimately to audience of me and when I lose myself in the effort I know that I’m on the right track. Being aware that some days will be hard is okay because life without struggle is not reality. I term my success on courageously living each day to the max while being true to me.

Me talk

I build my own feelings of self-worth through positive self-talk. Life seems to flow a bit smoother when I’m dealing with people that display high self-esteem: open, honest, trusting, with mutual goals. No need to waste time yelling at children for exhibiting improper behavior. Instead, try waiting for and seeking preferred behavior to compliment.  Less stress experienced by all involved.
